Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Walt Disney World has officially introduced a refreshed lineup of makeover packages, new cast member costumes, and the most magical update of all, in-person visits from Fairy Godmother herself!
As a Disney-loving mom and travel agent, I know how special this moment can be for families. So, here’s a breakdown of everything that’s new (and a few of my best planning tips to make sure your child’s transformation day is pure magic).
What’s New at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Simplified Package Options
Disney has simplified the boutique offerings, making it easier to choose the right package for your little royal, and your budget. Packages remain for children ages 3-12 but instead of several confusing tiers, there are now three package options:
The Fairy Tale Package ($119.99 plus tax)
- Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique shirt
- Princess sash
- Cinch bag
- Shimmering makeup and nail polish
- Choice of hairstyle
The Kingdom Package ($229.99 plus tax)
- Disney Princess gown of your choice

The Adventure Package ($59.99 plus tax)
- Knight Shirt
- Mighty sword and shield
- Hairstyling with gel
These new packages replace many of the older ones (like the Carriage and Castle Packages) and make booking a little easier to navigate, especially for first-time visitors!
Fairy Godmother Joins the Fun!
For the first time ever, Fairy Godmother herself may make appearances inside the boutique experience. She’ll be greeting little royals and sprinkling some extra magic on an already magical experience.
This is the moment where the storybook truly comes to life!
Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices (formerly known as Fairy Godmothers-in-Training) also have updated costumes with a more regal, storybook look.
My Tips for Booking
If you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World, here’s how to make the most of your Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience:
- Book Early! Reservations open 60 days in advance, and these appointments fill up fast. If your child has their heart set on a princess transformation, mark your calendar and be ready to book right at the 60-day mark.
- Bring Your Own Dress (if you’d like). You can absolutely bring a favorite princess gown or Knight costume from home. You will be provided with a changing room to start your child's royal transformation. The “Fairy Tale Package” is a great value for this option. This is what we've done with our children in the past when they wanted difficult to find costumes or during the summer months when it's just too hot for a full princess gown.
- Arrive Early. Cinderella Castle area can get busy! Plan to check in about 15 minutes before your reservation time to soak in the ambiance and get those pre-transformation photos.
- Capture the Moment. Don’t forget that Disney PhotoPass photographers often capture moments during the experience, perfect for memory books or holiday cards.
- Pair It with a Character Meal. For the ultimate princess day, book a meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table afterward. Your newly crowned royal will feel like they’ve stepped straight into a fairytale.
